Chris is the owner and head engineer of Work It Bird Studios, specializing in studio recording and post-production for commercials, films, and documentaries. Originally from Rochester, New York, he moved to Colorado in 2003 to pursue his passion for sound, studying Audio Production at the Art Institute of Colorado and earning a Master’s degree in Recording Arts and Post-Production from UC Denver.

With years of experience as a performing musician, live sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist—especially on drums and percussion—Chris brings a musician’s ear and instinct to every session, giving his engineering work a creative edge that artists and producers value. He also performs regularly with several bands along the Front Range, including the Antonio Lopez Band, Mackenzie Rae and Buckshot Moon, the Billy Shaddox Band, and Meniskus.
